Suzi Mackenzie

Mr. Suzie Mackenzie was born into a large family of fifteen and is the last living member of his family. He is eighty-eight years old now and was born during Easter. During his time his family was always in the bush and lived in tipis. He remembers his parents telling him where he was born in the bush and it was while traveling by dog team along a trail. His father stopped the dogs and started cutting spruce boughs, and during this time another dogteam was coming close. It was another family and the woman that was with this family helped deliver Suzie. He was born right on the spruce boughs in the open during Easter.
